President addresses Terryland Forest Park 25th Anniversary

Location: Terryland Forest Park, Galway

President Higgins addressed the 25th Anniversary celebrations of the Terryland Forest Park, Galway.

The celebrations highlighted the journey from the first planting on 12th of March 2000 to the present day, 25 years later, encompassing an estimated 100,000 native Irish trees over 120 acres.

As part of the celebration, President Higgins was invited to plant a tree and unveil a plaque of his poem “The Mountain”.
