The President and Sabina Higgins will attend the 2025 Robert Tressell Festival in Liberty Hall, Dublin.
Robert Tressell, was an Irish writer best known for his novel The Ragged-Trousered Philanthropists.
The festival is a celebration of Robert Tressell, his book, working-class culture, and of trade union solidarity.
President Higgins delivered the 2024 keynote address at the festival. This year the keynote address will be given by Senator Bernie Sanders.
