The President and Sabina Higgins travelled to the University Concert Hall, Limerick, to attend Sounding Sionna: A Celebration Of Music & Dance.

The concert will feature sean-nós singers, medieval and baroque song with traditional dance, echoing Academy founder the late Mícheál Ó Suilleabháin's vision - and celebrating all the music and dance culture of the world equally.

The University Concert Hall was Ireland's first purpose built concert hall and is situated in the University of Limerick campus.
