The President and Sabina Higgins hosted a reception for staff and volunteers of the Irish Coast Guard Service at Áras an Uachtaráin, marking 200 years of the Irish Coast Guard.

In his speech, the President reflected on the Irish Coast Guard’s rich history and recognised the tireless work of the Irish Coast Guard staff and volunteers.
