On Monday 10 July, President and Sabina Higgins hosted a concert by Cuban and Irish uilleann pipers.

Organised by Na Píobairí Uilleann, the concert featured musicians from Cuba and Ireland, singing and playing pipes, and celebrated the cultural links that exist between Ireland and Cuba.

Earlier this year, President Higgins spoke of those historic and contemporary links. You can read his speech here.
