As in previous years, President and Sabina Higgins opened up Áras an Uachtaráin for Culture Night.
Guests, who were allotted tickets through a lottery, were given a tour of the House and treated to performance of Samuel Beckett's radio play "All that Fall", performed by Mouth on Fire.
The President and Sabina Higgins hosted the event as a celebration of Culture Night, and to mark the 50th anniversary of Samuel Beckett being awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature and the 30th anniversary of his death.
