In a ceremony at Áras an Uachtaráin, President Higgins appointed Mr. Justice David Barniville S.C. as President of the High Court and Justice Eileen Roberts S.C. to the High Court.
Also in attendance were Taoiseach Micheál Martin T.D., Minister for Justice, Helen McEntee T.D., Attorney General, Paul Gallagher S.C. and Secretary General of Dept. of Taoiseach and the Government, John Callinan.
