President Michael D. Higgins appointed Mr. Justice Hogan as a new Judge of the Supreme Court and wished him well in his new role.
Tánaiste Leo Varadkar, Secretary General of the Department of An Taoiseach, Mr. Martin Fraser and Secretary General to the President, Ms Orla O'Hanrahan were present at the ceremony.
