President appoints judges to the Court of Appeal and the High Court

President Michael D. Higgins appointed Mr. Justice John Edward Hedigan as Judge to the Court of Appeal.

The President also signed the Warrants appointing Mr. Paul Coffey SC and Ms Úna Ní Raifeartaigh SC as Judges to the High Court.

An Taoiseach Enda Kenny TD, An Tánaiste Frances Fitzgerald TD, Attorney General  Ms. Maire Whelan, Secretary General to the Taoiseach Mr. Martin Fraser and Secretary General to the President Mr Art O’Leary were in attendance.
