At the invitation of His Excellency Mr. Ricardo Hernández, Ambassador of Chile, President Higgins attended a ceremony in recognition of the Irish Missionaries Fr. Brendan Forde, Fr. Desmond McGillicuddy and Fr. Liam Hollohan, for their humanitarian assistance provided to the people of Chile.
