President Michael D. Higgins attended a screening of the film ‘Báite’, directed by Ruán Magan, at the Lighthouse Cinema.
Following the screening, the President was presented with a commissioned piece of Connemara marble and a piece of Cartoon Saloon artistry by the Screen Guilds of Ireland in recognition of his contribution to the Irish film industry over the decades.
