The President took part in Féile na Laoch, a festival celebrating our cultural heroes.
In 2011, President Higgins attended the inaugural ‘aeraíocht’ at the Féile, which is held every 7 years and coincides with composer Seán Ó Riada’s birthday on 1 August.
