President and Sabina Higgins attended the premiere of Tom Murphy’s adaptation of ‘The Cherry Orchard’ by Anton Chekhov, directed by Garry Hynes, one of Ireland's leading theatre directors.
The Druid Theatre production runs at Galway’s Black Box Theatre and will also be live-streamed at selected cinemas.
President Higgins is Patron of Druid.
