President attends Republic of Ireland vs Liverpool FC Legends game

President Higgins attended the Republic of Ireland v. Liverpool FC Legends game at the Aviva stadium in Dublin.

Former players from Liverpool and the Republic of Ireland team played a game to raise funds for the the Sean Cox Rehabilitation Trust. Sean Cox from County Meath suffered life-changing injuries after an unprovoked assault before the Champions League game against Roma at Anfield last April.
