President Higgins will attend the official opening of the archive of Siobhán McKenna at NUI Galway
Siobhán McKenna (1922-1986) was an internationally renowned actress and director, and an alumnus of University College Galway (now NUI Galway).
The James Hardiman Library at NUI Galway now holds the Siobhán McKenna Archive, consisting of 55 boxes of material covering her life and career.
