President attends UEFA U-17 Championship match between the Republic of Ireland and Belgium

President Michael D. Higgins will attend the UEFA European Under-17 Championship match between the Republic of Ireland and Belgium. 

The UEFA Under-17 Euro 2019 tournament is taking place in Ireland until 19 May, with matches taking place in Dublin (Tallaght Stadium, Tolka Park, UCD Bowl, Whitehall Stadium), Longford (Strokestown Road), Waterford (Regional Sports Centre) and Wicklow (Carlisle Grounds). 

President Higgins also attended the Republic of Ireland’s opening game, against Greece in Tallaght Stadium last week.
