President Connolly will attend a special concert at the Town Hall Theatre in Galway.
The concert will mark the 30th anniversary of the official re-opening of the refurbished Town Hall on 1 February 1996, by the then Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht, Michael D Higgins, and Mayor of Galway City Cllr Micheál Ó hUiginn.
