President Higgins lead the 2025 National Famine Commemoration Ceremony in Kilmallock, Co. Limerick
The annual national commemoration revolves between the four provinces of Ireland, with this year’s event being held in Munster.
President Higgins has made the ethical commemoration of key events in our history, such as the Great Famine, a core tenet of his Presidency.
