President delivers the keynote address at Concern Worldwide's 50th anniversary conference

President Higgins opened a conference marking the 50th anniversary of Concern.

In March this year, the President paid tribute to the staff, volunteers and supporters of Concern, saying the organisation “crafted a vital bridge between the Irish people and some of the poorest people in our world." (See details here.)
