President Higgins met representatives of Embrace Farm, the farm accident support network.

The organisation will host its eighth annual Remembrance Service for those affected by farm accidents online at the end of June.

In previous messages of support to Embrace Farm, President Higgins has said that we must place farm safety at the very heart of our agricultural industry: “We must always remember our great duty to protect not only our precious land and environment, but also those for whom the land is a way of life.”
