Bunaíodh an Chomhairle chun leas a bhaint as taithí, fuinneamh agus teagmhálacha idirnáisiúnta grúpa IarUachtarán agus PhríomhAirí, d’fhonn moltaí agus réitigh phraiticiúla ar fhadhbanna polaitiúla, eacnamaíochta agus sóisialta atá ag teacht roimh an gcine daonna a fhorbairt.
The President met with members of the InterAction Council.
The Council was established to mobilise the experience, energy and international contacts of a group of former President and Prime Ministers, to develop recommendations and practical solutions for the political, economic and social problems confronting humanity.
Former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern is Co-Chair of the Council.
