President Higgins hosted a reception for Galway All Ireland Minor and Senior Hurling Teams.
Since his inauguration, President Higgins has attended 34 official GAA matches, including the senior and junior All Ireland finals in football, hurling and camogie.
In 2017, the President attended 28 major sports events.
