President Michael D. Higgins hosted an event in Áras an Uachtaráin for descendants of the Irish men and women who represented Dáil Éireann at the Treaty negotiations in London in 1921.
Among those in attendance will be descendants of Michael Collins, Cathal Brugha, Robert Barton, Kathleen McKenna, Seán Milroy, Tim Smiddy, Diarmaid Fawsitt, Fionan Lynch, Bridget Mary Lynch (nee Slattery) and Ned Broy.
