President Higgins travelled to the Palácio do Freixo for a bilateral meeting with H.E. Mr. Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, President of the Portuguese Republic.
The meeting followed President de Sousa’s State Visit to Ireland in October 2022 where President Higgins welcomed President de Sousa with a ceremonial welcome at Áras an Uachtaráin.
