The President addressed members of the Irish Community in Auckland.

In his speech at this event, the last one of the President's State Visit to New Zealand, the President spoke of the importance of using the Irish language and respecting culture. He also thanked those who looked after Irish and other immigrants, and encouraged members of the Irish diaspora to stay in touch with relatives and friends in Ireland.
