President Higgins and Sabina took part in an event marking the 750th anniversary of Dante Alighieri.
The event, hosted in the National Gallery, featured a reading of Dante’s entire poem: ‘Inferno’, with the first canto delivered in Irish by President Higgins, and Sabina Higgins reading from the canto ‘Inferno VI’.
