President Higgins welcomed a delegation from the Festival Interceltique de Lorient to Áras an Uachtaráin.
The Inter-Celtic Festival takes place annually in the Breton city of Lorient, which has been twinned with Galway since 1975.
In 2014, President Higgins participated in the festival, and attended 10 events.
