President receives American Irish Legislators Society of New York

President Higgins hosted an event for members of the American-Irish Legislators Society of New York. 

The American-Irish Legislators Society is a bi-partisan organisation of members of the New York State Legislature, committed to promoting awareness of Irish culture, ties between Ireland and New York, and fellowship among legislators of Irish descent or with an interest in Ireland or the American-Irish community.

The President hosted the event just days before his departure for New York, where he will address the United Nations General Assembly.
