President Higgins received His Excellency Mr. Andrej Plenkovic, Prime Minister of Croatia, to Áras an Uachtaráin on a courtesy call.
Mr. Plenkovic has served as the prime minister of Croatia since October 2016.
In June 2013, President Higgins made a State Visit to Croatia, during which, he delivered an address at University of Zagreb entitled, ‘Reflecting on the future of Europe: A perspective after 40 years of Membership’
