President Higgins welcomed Ms. Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, leader of the democratic opposition in Belarus, to Áras an Uachtaráin on a courtesy call.
Ms. Tsikhanouskaya has a strong personal connection to Ireland having spent many summers here in her youth.
