31/01/2018 NO REPRO FEE, MAXWELLS DUBLIN The President received representatives from University College Cork, who presented a copy of their book “Atlas of the Great Irish Revoltuion” Pic shows ( l to r ) Donal Ó Drisceoil, editor, John Crowley, editor, Patrick O’Shea, UCC President, President Michael D Higgins, Sabina Higgins, Mike Murphy, editor and John Borgonovo, editor at Áras an Uachtaráin. The book, published to coincide with the centenary of the Easter Rising, brings together current research on the revolutionary period and illustrates the effects of the Revolution on Irish culture and politics, both past and present.
