President receives the Birmingham Irish Cycle Appeal on a Courtesy Call

President Higgins  welcomed members of the Birmingham Irish Cycle Appeal to Áras an Uachtaráin.

The Birmingham Irish Cycle Appeal (BICA) is a voluntary organisation founded and led by members of the Irish community in Birmingham. BICA has raised over £1 million for numerous charities across Ireland and the UK.

This year the group will embark on a 600-mile journey from the Giant’s Causeway to Blarney Castle.
