Pic Maxwells/Julien Behal No Fee 25/03/2017 A single light in a window of Aras an Uachtarain viewed from the gardens of Aras an Uachtarain on Saturday night during Earth Hour from 830-930 .In a symbolic gesture to illustrate the collective power that individual actions can unlock, President and Sabina Higgins marked Earth Hour 2017 by switching off the lights at Áras an Uachtaráin. During Earth Hour, all non-essential lights in Áras an Uachtaráin will be switched off, with the exception of the President's "light in the window" for the diaspora.
