At the Zappeion Megaron in Athens, President Higgins had a bilateral meeting with HE Kersti Kaljulaid, President of the Republic of Estonia.
The two Heads of State discussed European cooperation and reiterated the importance of the Good Friday Agreement and highlighted the need to protect the peace process in Northern Ireland.
They also spoke about their hopes for a positive outcome of the Arroiolos Group meeting in Athens, emphasising the importance of multilateral cooperation to meet global challenges.
