On Wednesday, 18th May, 2016 President Michael D. Higgins received Ms. Rafeef Ziadah on a courtesy call at Áras an Uachtaráin.
Through the medium of performing poetry and conducting workshops, Rafeef has done much over the past decade to raise awareness of human rights issues and of displacement of large numbers of people across the globe.
