President Higgins will welcome Kate Doust, President of the Legislative Council of Western Australia, to Áras an Uachtaráin.
Ms. Doust has been President of the Legislative Council since 2017 and is the first woman to hold the position.
President Higgins addressed the State Parliament of Western Australia in October 2017, when he was in Perth as part of his State Visit to Australia.
