President receives the new Chairman of The Ireland Funds America Mr. Eugene McQuade, Mr. David Cronin and Mr. Shaun Kelly

President Higgins welcomed the new Chairman of the Ireland Funds America, Mr. Eugene McQuade, to Áras an Uachtaráin. 

Mr. McQuade was accompanied by the organisation's Chief Executive, Mr. David Cronin, and the Vice Chair of the Fund, Mr. Shaun Kelly.

The Ireland Funds is a global philanthropic network, established in 1976, promoting and supporting peace, culture, education and community development on the island of Ireland. The Ireland Funds America was established in 1987. In 2018, it awarded more than US$ 23 million in grants and programme services.
