President Higgins received Ms. Eluned Morgan, First Minister of Wales, to Áras an Uachtaráin on a courtesy call.
Eluned Morgan is a Welsh Labour politician who has served as First Minister of Wales and Leader of Welsh Labour since 2024.
Following the meeting with President Higgins, The First Minister will travel to Cork to meet with an Tánaiste Micheál Martin for the 2024 ministerial forum, a key part of the Ireland-Wales Shared Statement commitment.
