President Higgins recieved Professor Roger Stalley at Áras an Uachtaráin on a courtesy call.
Professor Stalley is a Fellow Emeritus of Trinity College Dublin where he was Professor of History of Art until his retirement in 2010. He is currently a member of The Chester Beatty Board of Trustees.
The Chester Beatty (Library) is a public charitable trust established under the will of the late Sir Alfred Chester Beatty, who left his Collections in the care of a Trust for the benefit of the Irish people.
