President receives report on the Áras an Uachtaráin Biodiversity Audit

Researchers from Trinity College Dublin presented the findings of their year-long survey of plant and animal life in the grounds of Áras an Uachtaráin to President Michael D. Higgins.

The President had asked for the study, to map the existing biodiversity of the Áras grounds, and to provide recommendations on how best to protect its diverse wildlife.
