President visits the grave of Sir Samuel Ferguson and meets with Dalaradia Historical Group

President Michael D. Higgins visited the grave of Sir Samuel Ferguson, restored by the Dalaradia community group, situated at St. John's Church, DonegoreHill.  

The President was given a tour of the old church and graveyard, followed by a simple ceremony at Fergusons grave. The President then visited the adjoining Leadlines Art Studios where the Dalaradia group gave a preview of a stained glass window, produced by the group under guidance from the Institute of Conflict Research. The artwork depicts images of Ulster's rich heritage and culture.
